We had often spoken and decided that the field really needed a verification covering all aspects in a single language, but that had never found the time to actually materialize it. In another line of research, one of Φ`s leading empirical evaluators has been developed in the field of clinical evaluation of non-reactive patients with disorders of consciousness. Casali et al. presented an integrated information disruption complexity index (PCI) to decide whether a particular patient is conscious or not. The PCI was designed to collect information and integration into the system. It quantifies the richness of information in the process of propagation of activity through EEG channels just after transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). .
